2014 PRAGUE: Evening 3 Malostranská beseda restaurant

June 27

We had dinner at a restaurant our concierge recommended.  He said we should try the locally popular duck with cabbage and dumplings.  It was such a beautiful, cool night that we sat on the patio looking out to the Square.  So relaxing!

The duck was soft and the cabbage was mild in the light gravy (Polovina nebo čtvrtka pečené kachny s červeným vinným zelím, bramborovými a houskovými knedlíky).  There were two types of dumplings to soak up the gravy.
Since I had so much to eat at lunch and couldn't even finish my whole meal, I opted to go for something small with the intention of helping Aaron eat his duck.  The goulash soup with breads (Gulášová polévka s hlívou ústřičnou) was perfect for me.
Pojďme jíst!
We were in such good spirits (despite all the cigarette smoking going on around us) that we ordered apple strudel and coffee for dessert.  Ono!
Time to walk off our meal!  We walked around the corner to see Aaron's church pick -- St. Nicholas Church (Kostel svatého Mikuláše).  Very nice from what we can see from the outside.

Anyone in there?  I'm here to confess my sins!
Look what I found on our walk!  I'm a Filipiny!
Here's a video of Malá Strana Square (Menší Město pražské):
