Musical alert... Miss Saigon

We went to see Miss Saigon at the Playhouse Square, Cleveland, Ohio.

It's my second time seeing it since Kelly and I saw it in London.

I met my sister and Ohana in L.A. and picked up Khyla for her Ohio trip. Khyla met Keala. Aaron and I took Khyla to Cedar Point, pumpkin picking down south, the Cleveland Science Center and the Cleveland Zoo. Then it was back to L.A. where we went to Disneyland.

We went to the Metallica concert at the Q, Cleveland, Ohio!

KEALA: End of summer

A couple of months have passed and our fur ball has grown three times bigger. We found out her first "quirk" - Keala will not come running to us when called and will run away as a game.

KEALA: Summer update

When Aaron left for FAA training the summer of 2005, we found another "quirk" of Keala's - she likes to bark... a lot... at anything that moves outside of our house -- other dogs, animals, leaves, cars driving by, neighbors walking the neighborhood -- everything. Her guarding instincts must have kicked in because she found her voice -- a loud, deep bark at that -- and used it morning, noon and night!

ROAD TRIP: Rocky River State Park

The gang took a biking trip to Rocky River, Cleveland, OH.

Introducing... Keala

Now that we own a house with an enclosed backyard, we could finally get a puppy! We intended on purchasing a Bernese mountain dog from Pennsylvania but ended up getting a Great Pyrenees in Elyria! She is so adorable and cuddly!


Aaron chose "Nicki" from 12 other puppies -- she's the pick of the litter at 8 weeks old!


At two months, she's a big ball of fur -- enjoying an ohana barbeque in the backyard

GIRLIE UPDATE: Introducing... Mr. Duhamel

I don't know if it was because of the T.V. series Las Vegas or the movie Win A Date with Tad Hamilton that got me hooked, but I thought Josh was hannnnndsooome! Odd because he wasn't blond, but he was tall and very nice to look at! I found an artsy picture of him and thought, since Aaron and his navy friends can share porn pix with each other, I can have a half-naked pix of J.D.!

Needless to say, the porno disappeared from my computer, but Mr. Duhamel is filed away safely...

Home improvements - Round one

We stripped the laundry room walls of the bird wallpaper and painted the room a bold red. I also painted the awful green cabinets in the master bathroom.

We bought a house!

We closed on a house on 3/29/04. We will be living on Michigan Avenue, University Heights, Elyria, Ohio. It's a cute fixer-upper in a good neighborhood. We're excited!
