The Jacobs Group and the Cleveland Indians
I got a job! I went to a temp agency and got placed at The Jacobs Group. I am a secretary for an executive who fills real estate in shopping malls all around the states. And there's a perk -- the owner of this company also owns the Cleveland Indians baseball team and ballpark! I got to go to my first professional baseball game in club seats style, and for free! The extra tickets made Aaron's family happy! And the job is pretty cool too!

409 Middle Avenue apartment
After receiving our huge phone bills, Aaron and I decided I should move to Ohio. I just happened to want a change in life and we missed each other like crazy. I was busy packing up more than 10 years of college cr@p and memories while Aaron was apartment hunting. By the time I got to Ohio, Aaron found a nice quaint apartment in downtown Elyria and started a new job doing quality control in a factory. My new life in the mainland begins!

Ohio visit 2000
Holy cow! Who would have thought I'd travel thousands of miles, all by myself to the frickin' Midwest?! That's what happens when you're blind in love and missing your man!
I got to see where Aaron lives (with his parents) in Elyria, met his high school friends and brother, visited Cleveland and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and drove through Pennsylvania and New York to Niagara Falls for Valentine's Day. It's freezing cold but I had a great time!

Aaron leaves the Navy and Hawaii
After serving six years in the U.S. Navy, Aaron left Hawaii and returned to his home state of Ohio. His family expected him to come home for school so we stuck to his original plan and I remained back on the island...

The Reuben James FFG 57 family cruise
I got to ride on Aaron's frigate, the USS Reuben James FFG 57! We went over to Kauai for the weekend. I got to see some military maneuvers -- shooting the guns and going really fast and making waves. When the ship slowed down I got sick, not because of the movement but of the gas exhaust. Aaron put me out by giving me a pill. I was out like a light.
