Going up hill

Aaron and Tina did another bike ride today. This time they ventured to the Rocky River Reservation trail and rode 52 miles! Good job! Since Aaron had more energy left, Tina dropped him off in an adjoining neighborhood and he rode his bike home. He added 8 miles to his afternoon ride. That's 60 miles to date!

His goal is to do 75-miles in one day -- and for two consecutive days! He is participating in the Petal To the Point Ride next weekend. It's for a good cause to fight MS and a chance for Aaron to do what he loves best -- ride his bike, of course!
To learn more, go to MSohiobike.org or group name: National MS Society - Ohio Buckeye Chapter on Facebook
Aaron thinks that he can make it! He's been conditioning himself everyday by biking 9.5 miles to work in 37 minutes. And he's been taking weekend rides with his riding partner Tina.

Go! Go! Go, Team Brlas!

I hear that another one of Mr. Butler's movies is coming out this year! Not only is The Ugly Truth out in theaters now and Gamer is coming out in September, but Law Abiding Citizen is premiering in October as well!

GB overload? I think NOT!

Jeremiah was a bullfrog...

After tackling to get up in time for work and battling fatigue this week, what did I do? I went out Friday night! I started out feeling young and hip but now I feel like that 40-year old lady that I am!

Sitting: Adam; clockwise: Jay, Jen, Tom, Dave and Nikki
Aaron and I went out to celebrate Jay's birthday and to see Adam who is in town. It was a high school reunion of sorts for Aaron. Dave Ransome and John Parks were there too. We all met at Dave Andras' bar Bullfrog's in North Ridgeville. I drank one too much Red Bull vodkas and shots I didn't intend on doing. Since I wasn't back to good health before last night, I'm hurtin' today.

Aaron just left with Tina to go bike riding. They are attempting to ride 50+ miles on the Ohio Towpath Trail. Mike and I will meet up with them later for dinner. I hope my tummy's settled by then!

Aaron wearing his new biking shirt and shorts -- go Team Brlas!

[Update: After all the tea and Pepto I took this afternoon, I did feel better by the time we met for dinner. We ended up going to the Rocky River Brewing Company.]

It seems I have an orange Milkweed peeking out between the Yucca, Lamb's Ears and Berberis bush in my Circle Garden in the front yard.
