Aye-karumba! El Jalapeno

Dinner night with Megan! And of course I was late again. I have to get back into driving in traffic -- I never give myself enough time to get anywhere before everyone else. And in my effort to get there as fast as possible I almost hit a fire chief car in a busy intersection. But I survived the drive into the city and didn't get lost. I even found a great parking space for my big trailblazer.

Megan's pick was El Jalapeno in Lakewood/Cleveland. Both of tried an enchilada special but Megan had a margarita and I had flan. The food was good but the company was better!

A walk on Washington Avenue

Keala, Ikaika and I enjoyed a beautiful day walking around the Washington Avenue and Ely Park area. My father-in-law Ken even joined us! The dogs were so excited, they decided to do their "business" TWICE! EACH!! Needless to say, we ran out of bags just going across the street and had to go back to the house to get more. After our walk, we hung out on the back porch drinking water and cooling down.

We had fun. I think Ken did too!

MOVIE ALERT: Robin Hood

I liked the tale of Robin of the Hood, the prequel! It was an interesting take on the story we know and love. Once again, Mr. Crowe looks like he belongs in our history books as our hero, all rough around the edges and manly! As well as Blanchett -- loved her sassy Lady Marion! There's a light love story wedged in between all the action too!

Nikki's bridal shower

I joined Jen and Jessica to Nikki and Dave's bridal shower at the Legacy Restaurant, Sweetbriar Golf Club in Avon Lake. It's always nice to catch up with friends.
