HAWAII 2013: Day 5 Goodbye Waikiki... Aloha Northshore!

We checked out of the Sheraton Waikiki and met Aaron's Navy buddy Steve Rash and his wife Stephanie for lunch at Duke's. We did a little shopping on Kalakaua Avenue before heading off to our rental homes on Northshore.
Ahh, papaya for breakfast on our lanai, watching a canoe race below us on Waikiki Beach.
The drive from town on the south shores to the other side of the island up north took us about an hour and half. There was stand still traffic because the highway is only two lanes and tons of tourist buses and lost cars making stupid turns was happening that afternoon. Crazy!!
