I went to see Sorcerer's Apprentice between shopping on Monday. A cute little flick!!

Aaron and I had date night on Tuesday -- dinner at Minh Anh and a pre-screening of Dinner for Schmucks. I thought I wouldn't like the flick but it was HILARIOUS!!

Today Aaron and I went to see Inception. The movie was long and a bit confusing, but the concept was amazing! I think I'll have to see it again to get the story straight. I really liked Mr. Hardy's character! He kicked a$$ and had a nice Brit accent, of course.

2010 BOSTON: Day 9 Dunkin Donuts bye-bye!

The day has come for our fabulous Boston vacation to end! We actually woke up early, got ready and packed in time to catch a taxi to the airport.


Check-in was a breeze and security checkpoint was painless.

We were lucky because we were leaving from the same terminal. I walked over to Nalani and Khyla's gate with them since they were leaving first. We had a little breakfast and last round of picture taking before they boarded.


I headed to my gate next and had some time to surf the internet. The trip back was short and I had a much needed nap on board.

Aaron picked me up from the airport just as I was coming out the door. We're off to pick up his tuxedo for the wedding this weekend and to grab some lunch. Looking forward to seeing my babies at home! And diving into my bed for more sleep!

2010 BOSTON: Day 8 Hurtin' and tired

Nalani and I had too much fun (alcohol) last night. I was sick all morning and didn't want to eat until late afternoon. We finally managed to get ready and met Tim. Khyla got to swim in his outdoor pool for a bit before the drizzles started. We thought it was going to thunderstorm so we headed to his condo. Tim's father was there with pizza. We raided Tim's closets and hallway for his DVD, Blu-Ray and movie memorabilia collection. Do we have enough room in our luggage to bring it all home?

We headed back to the hotel to drop off Khyla and get ready for our last night out with Tim. Khyla's having a girl's night with Hanna Montana and mac and cheese, while Nalani and I have a drink at Bristol's Bar and dinner with Tim's friend Chris. NO ALCOHOL PLEASE!

2010 BOSTON: Day 7 McGeevy's and Newbury Street

The house car dropped us off at McGeevy's -- owned by Aaron's favorite band the Dropkick Murphys. We were just going to buy Aaron a gift but ended up having a pint and gravy-cheese fries. Ono!




Shopping commenced... and we were successful!

We stopped for lunch at the Thai Basil Restaurant.

Gotta go home and "unload".

2010 BOSTON: Evening 6 Seafood and Bon Bons

Tim took us to Legal Seafoods in Copley Place for dinner. Boiled lobster, stuffed lobster, sirloin steak and stuffed shrimp! Dig in!

2010 BOSTON: Day 6 Amtrak to Boston

We had another late morning so we didn't get a chance to walk Central Park but managed to get ready to go in time.

The house car dropped us off at Penn Station.

Our train arrived 45-minutes late but we hopped on like professionals and settled in for the 4-hour trip. We arrived in Boston about an hour late. Hello Four Seasons Boston again!

Khyla received a puppy stuffed animal -- named Cookie.

Relaxing in the lobby while they prepped our room. We had goodies waiting for us!

NYC: Evening 5 Lia, Crepes and Central Park

After a short nap we got ready to meet Lia around the corner at Melt Gelatio on 2nd Ave. and 55th and 56th Streets. Nalani and Khyla had crepes and Lia and I had a wrap and panini.



I'm so glad I got to see Lia, my former student worker and good friend!

We walked over to Central Park and Lia to her sub station.

Time to workout a little before packing up for tomorrow's trip back to Boston!

NYC: Day 5 Ol' Liberty and Chinatown

We had a slow start today but we finally made it out of the room.

We had the Maybach house car drive us to Times Square.

We stopped in SoHo for lunch but ended up walking to Chinatown for duck and fried rice instead. Mmmm!

We rode the subway back home and stumbled into Bloomingdale's and a movie film production up the street from our hotel. We even saw Sylvester Stallone coming out of our hotel! But all three of us were unsuccessful at getting a picture. No paparazzi are we!
